"All this...made humanly possible by Williams"
Member of my collection: 2005
Williams machines of the mid-1980s "hooked" me into pinball after years of being a dedicated videgame freak. Their increasing jackpot shots, excellent music / speech, and overall execution of the themes forced me to take notice. I never saw pinball the same way again. Pinbot, along with High Speed, was one of the first to accomplish this with an all around excellent package that still holds true today. The somewhat darker theme of the game feels fresh (most machines have a brighter, cheerier tone). The simple gameplay is easy to enjoy with enough shots to bring you back for more. The opening head for locking balls, mini-peg-filled playfield, chest panel, and goal to reach the sun for special remain fun to play for. All in all, Pinbot is a true classic and a nostalgic-fest for my soul.
